Three Sunsets is an action roguelite chronicling the final days of a mythical land being torn apart by a supernatural storm. Craft powerful spells, solve ancient puzzles and find your way home before the island's final bow.

A Companion and a Home

The remains of once mighty creatures lie scattered around the island. Neither beasts, nor machines, these creatures acted both as companions and shelter for the inhabitants of the island. Inside of them, a hollowed out space provides protection against the poisonous void tides that periodically engulf the island. This is your base where you will build stations, slowly improve your abilities and plan your expeditions. The stations that you build dictate the type of wizard you will become. Some of the choices will be based on the random resources of each cycle, others will be up to your play style.

Spell Crafting

Crafting spells is the core mechanic of the game. You have in your posession a powerful artefact known as an Astral Codex. With the right training it allows you to create almost any spell imaginable.

You can tweak every parameter of your spells, improve them or alter them altogether. You can even sequence spells together. With multiple schools of magic, some spells will help you traverse the world and reach new locations, others will help you solve puzzles, while some will bring about immediate devastation upon any who would oppose you.

The Tides

At sunset, powerful storms hit the island and cover it in a poisonous mist. The world reveals new secrets under the darkness, some beneficial, some terrifying.

while it may be tempting to spend time underneath the twilight, the longer you stay the more violent the world becomes, bringing forth tornadoes, stronger enemies and slowly ripping apart the very island.

Tactics Meets Action

Enemies can be tough. But with dozens of unique elements and status effects that can combine and interact with each other there are countless ways in which to tackle the various challenges you will encounter. Whether you choose to immolate enemies, fling them in the air or slow them down, stun them or simply make them slip on ice, there is always a way to deal with even the toughest challenges.
