Why Early Access?

“I am not a professional game designer. Over the past 5 years, I've self-taught game engines, and my father has assisted in character design. With our combined game experience, we've been gradually developing the game. However, I'm aware of my lack of development experience. Therefore, I want to use this mode to listen to more player feedback and continuously improve "Three Kingdoms: Righteous Chronicles" into a quality game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect it to last between six months and a year. Considering my limited development experience, I haven't set a specific release date for the game yet.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The mainline flow in the current version is much the same as in the full game. However, in the complete version, I plan to introduce richer exploration areas and side quests. I also hope to update the game’s art assets to show more better visual effects. Additionally, I’ll consider modifying the mainline map design as needed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current version, more than half of the planned levels are playable. After a certain point in the story, there will be a clear indication that the plot cannot be advanced temporarily. The overall plan includes about 80 different types of enemies distributed in more than 10 mainline levels. The protagonist can also acquire more than 20 skills to solve puzzles and explore levels.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features， and this depends on the duration of the Early Access period and the amount of new content added during that time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Currently, I collect feedback from the Steam community, reviews, and our official QQ group.”

The Demo of The Righteousness: SanGuo allows players to experience the comic book-style visuals and get a taste of this side-scrolling ARPG before its full release.

  • No Save Function – This special prologue version does not support saving. However, players can replay the three available stages as many times as they like.

  • Language – To enhance historical immersion, the test version defaults to Traditional Clerical Script commonly used during the Three Kingdoms period.

  • Content Differences – The demo may differ from the final release.
