Scorpion Overdrive

Descend to an alien planet where you will steal the planets most valuable resource, while hordes of giant alien bugs sting, stab, claw and shock you to no end. You must hold them back from destroying the equipment and somehow stay alive to enjoy a nice payday.

Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Because we currently have a game that players want to play and is fun, even in its incomplete state. Being in early access will allow us to fulfill the full vision of the game and to get feedback from the community as we develop and make larger changes to the game that couldn't happen if it was 'complete'. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« The game should be in early access for about 1 year. Updates will be pushed weekly throughout early access and the community will have a big part in the formation of the final game. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Throughout early access additional features will be added, such as co-op gameplay, and additional campaign content. Also, the community response will help guide the development and additional content. The early access will gain these features as they are developed. The full release version will contain these features. »

« It is a single player representation of the final game, and is currently being played and enjoyed exactly as is. The final version will have the accumulated additions that are gained throughout early access, with the main focus being adding new content and enabling online co-op. It currently contains 7 missions, with additions planned on a regular basis throughout early access. There will be weekly updates to the game throughout early access, either new levels, weapons, character abilities, upgrades, etc. It is well optimized and represents our vision for the game. »

« Yes, the early access version is being offered at a significant discount to encourage player participation and the growth of an active player feedback driven community. The price will be increasing as we add to the content and features of the game. »

« Players are encouraged to join the Discord community for Scorpion Overdrive and give their thoughts, ideas, and encouragement. Having a Discord server allows us to have a central place for player/ developer communication, whether it's feedback, bug reports, gameplay ideas, update announcements, live gameplay streams, etc. »

Third Person Tower Defense

Scorpion Overdrive is a combination THIRD PERSON SHOOTER and TOWER DEFENSE strategy game. It's a fast paced horde/ swarm scenario that relies on putting together the right combination of weapons, turrets, traps and ability upgrades for each mission to have a chance of surviving. As the waves of enemies crush in you will have to strategically place your defenses under increasing pressure. Currently there are 7 single player levels and many more will be added regularly throughout early access.

Strategically set your weapons in place before and during the waves of alien bugs as they come crashing down on you while you defend your planetary pumping station. A variety of turrets and traps, including laser turrets, plasma cannons, shock traps, missile silos, time warp traps, and more are available to place in critical spots. Tear down the enemy as they seek to destroy your equipment and prevent your payday.

Any creatures that make it through your turrets and traps must be dealt with head on. Use laser rifles, particle shotguns, freeze cannons, proton grenades and more to personally annihilate the enemies. The messier the better.

Strengthen your arsenal

Clearing an area will earn you credits on the galactic underground market to purchase weapon and character ability upgrades that can be mixed and matched to build the perfect arsenal to combat the ever growing hordes that seek your demise.
