Why Early Access?

Since our team is small, Early Access allows us to improve the balance, polish the content, and expand the world together with our community. Our goal is to deliver the best possible version of the game, and Early Access is an important step toward achieving that.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are aiming for around one year of Early Access. The actual duration may vary depending on development needs and the direction of the project.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While the full version may undergo meaningful improvements, it is expected to generally follow the progression structure of the current Early Access build. Our development direction focuses on expanding the amount and quality of content available to players. The scenario is also planned to receive ongoing updates throughout Early Access, with continuous content additions considered during this period.
Our current goals are as follows, and these plans may evolve depending on development progress:

• New exploration areas
• Additional bosses, enemies, and item rewards
• New NPCs, quests, and story content
• More challenge objectives

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, players can experience intense battles against ten bosses, including hidden encounters, as well as immersive smaller-scale combat with enemies that feature distinct attack patterns. You can explore dark-fantasy regions, discover items, avoid traps, and enhance your skills gained through adventure to grow your character.
The current version is fully playable, though not all content is complete. Some systems are planned to receive further refinement, and balance adjustments may be made as development progresses. We intend to continue improving the game with the community’s feedback and gradually enhance areas that need additional work.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Early Access is our way of building VELASTER together with the community, and our Discord server will be at the heart of that process. It’s the easiest place to chat directly with the developers, share ideas with other players, and get early looks at upcoming features.

We’ll also stay active on the Steam forums and our social channels. Feedback from all platforms will help us fine-tune the details and ensure the final version of VELASTER lives up to its full potential.”
