Varför Early Access?

“Disc Golf Game On is a disc golf simulation game that strives to deliver the real life aspects of disc golf packed into an easy to play but difficult to master video game. In trying to recreate that simulation with so many different throw types and so many different discs, it is challenging to ensure that everything is right. Thankfully we had the help of our beta community to help build DGGO to what it is today, and we plan to continue with that formula throughout the Early Access phase.”

“We expect to have this game ready for full release within 12 months.

As hard as it is to predict how long Early Access will last, we feel confident that the game and all its originally planned content will be available within one year. There are a number of game mechanics that we are working towards implementing within the coming months as well as more courses and discs and content. Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“As Early Access progresses we will primarily focus on releasing three types of content updates. We plan to release new courses, new gear and new discs. We will also be hosting “The Founders Cup”, which is an invite only tournament where players can participate on a global leaderboard. Besides the aforementioned content and tournament, we will also be releasing general balancing and or hotfixes as needed.

We’ve estimated four major content updates that will be released throughout the next 12 months. Each update will include new courses, new gear and new discs for the players to try. We plan on running additional tournaments for the courses added with each update.

Other balancing updates and or hotfixes will happen periodically and as needed to ensure the best game play experience for the players.

When Early Access comes to a close, we plan to continue adding new content to DGGO for years to come.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Players can carve up the greens on up to 6 world wide courses with over 70+ unique discs. Each course has a global leaderboard where players can post hot rounds and win additional in game currency. And speaking of currency, DGGO has an in-game shop where players can spend their well earned cash to buy bigger bags and better discs.

Besides general 18-hole play, DGGO offers play modes like CTP (Closest to Pin), Putt-Putt and Glow Rounds. There are even one-off challenges like “Tomahawks Only” and “One Disc Rally”, where players can earn in-game currency and unique prizes by competing.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“With the current plan being to add four additional content updates over the next 12-months, we will most likely be increasing the price. It is our goal to deliver exclusive content to our Early Access audience at the most cost effective price throughout the entire Early Access period.”
