About This Content

This fabulous city lies in the middle of the desert, in a rare ring of palm trees. To its entrance, a long straight road leads through the dunes. The town consists of 3 parts: The poor quarter with its streets dirty, its walls rotting and weathered, is the market's home. The Garden Quarter, where vibrant green plants surround the roads and the walls. The palace district, whose white walls reflect light blindly and show no more of its richness than the roads leading over a blue-green pool full of water.
