An Open-World Horror Fishing Game in an Alien Apocalypse

Step into a haunting world torn apart by an alien invasion in Just Another Day. Traverse treacherous, procedurally generated maps as you navigate real-time, ever-changing waters in search of rare fish, legendary loot, and unimaginable horrors. As a lone survivor, you'll fight using an arsenal of fully customizable boats, weapons, fishing poles, reels, lures and throwables from primitive spears and harpoons to futuristic beam weapons and other alien technology. Each weapon is uniquely generated, offering endless possibilities in your fight against colossal monsters, roaming creatures and unpredictable world events.

• Real-Time Water System: Experience dynamic waters with physics-driven waves.

• Global and Local Karma based systems. You always have a choice, what will yours be? The game will shape on how you treat the world, and the things in it and when Multiplayer is introduced a global Karma system will begin. More details later on that.

• Endless Exploration: Procedurally generated maps, 18 unique fish species, and 6 loot tiers keep every journey fresh.

• Robust Fishing Mechanics: Fish for treasure and face lurking dangers beneath, where a rare catch could mean life or death.

• Unique Combat Tools: Customize harpoons, grapple hooks with warheads, and an array of modern and alien weaponry—all procedurally generated and fully craftable. Discover parts, enhancements and upgrades as you roam the land and seas. Fine unique and legendary items that set yourself apart from everyone else.

• Dynamic Enemy Encounters: Face IK-driven enemies, from alien invasions to colossal, otherworldly creatures entering through dimensional rifts. I've spent an incredible amount of time learning procedurally based IK creatures.  I scare myself sometimes.  You won't expect them. Prepare yourselves for a fight. The enemies in this game can jump, fly, climb, break, craft, group, plot and stalk you wherever you go.  Your boat included. Be wary traveler, keep a good weapon by your side always.

• Base Building and Defense: Build and protect your sanctuary in this hostile alien world with your standard foundations, walls, steps and ladders but in addition to the basics: Nearly ANYTHING you find in the world can be used to defend your base!

• Advanced Graphics Support: Optimized for DirectX 11/12 for Windows  and Vulkan for Direct Linux, VR and Steam Deck Support

• Multiplayer Mode and Expansive VR Support: Single-player now, with multiplayer on the way, promising even more depth and interaction. As a VR pioneer, I have built this game for Virtual Reality from day one.
