Why Early Access?

“Citywars Tower Defense has been developed in close collaboration with its community from the very beginning. Early Access allows us to continue improving the game with direct feedback from players while we finalize the experience for the full 1.0 release.

The core gameplay is already fully playable and stable, but we want to keep refining balance, adding new content, and polishing the overall experience before the final release. Community feedback has always been extremely valuable to us, and Early Access lets players participate directly in shaping the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are currently working toward the 1.0 release. While we cannot provide an exact date yet, development is focused on finishing the remaining content, polishing systems, and preparing the game for its full release.

Our goal is to move out of Early Access once the experience reaches the level of quality and completeness we want for the final version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already contains the core gameplay systems such as tower defense mechanics, character progression, combat, multiplayer.

The full release will focus on expanding the game with additional content, improved balancing, new gameplay features, and further polishing of the player experience. We are also continuing to improve the internal tools that allow us to create new content and systems for the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and already includes the main gameplay systems. Players can build towers, gather resources, craft equipment, level up buildings and characters, and play together in multiplayer.

We continue to add new content, improvements, and balancing updates as development progresses toward the 1.0 release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Citywars Tower Defense is currently planned to remain free to play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We actively listen to player feedback through our community channels and use it to guide development decisions.

Players can share feedback, suggestions, and bug reports through Discord and in-game interactions with the development team. Community input helps us prioritize improvements and shape the future of the game as we move toward the full release.”

About This Game

Citywars Tower Defense puts you directly on the battlefield. Instead of commanding from above, you fight beside the towers you build to defend your core Crystal.

Choose from different combat classes such as Archer, Pirate, Fighter and more, each with their own abilities and playstyle. Strike enemies with melee, magic, or ranged weapons and react in real time as waves of monsters push forward.

Resources found across the map help you expand your defenses and reinforce the towers guarding the Crystal.

Gather materials, build workstations, and craft tools and weapons to improve your efficiency. As your production grows, you’ll unlock stronger tower upgrades and expand your defenses against the enemies threatening the core Crystal.

As you progress and unlock content, you won’t have to do everything alone.

You will recruit workers that produce resources automatically. As your production hub expands, your workforce and manufactories keep the supply lines running while you focus on defending the crystal.

Every biome in Citywars Tower Defense brings new surprises.

As you explore new regions, you unlock fresh strategies and special fighting mechanics that pushes you to get creative. Enemies with special abilities and new threats will constantly test your defenses. Discover themed towers, secret levels, and hidden challenges unique to each environment.

Citywars can be played solo, but the experience truly shines in multiplayer.

Work together with your friends to divide roles and defend the Crystal more effectively. One player gathers resources while another constructs towers. Some manage upgrades while others hold the line against enemies that break through the defenses.
