Early Access gives us the chance to polish core systems, gather feedback on combat, progression, and world design, and ensure the full game is shaped by real player experience. “Roughly 12 to 18 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes all core features, full co-op, and the first 5 major zones. It offers around 15 to 30 hours of main quest gameplay plus optional content. The full release is planned to expand the world to 12 to 15 large zones, with additional content, quests, and endgame systems.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build is stable and playable, with 5 finished zones, ships, combat, camp building, quests. Players can explore, fight, sail, and progress through the early stages of the story either solo or in co-op.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to raise the price as we hit full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll actively gather feedback through Steam forums and Discord. Player input will directly impact balancing, tuning, and which features or zones we prioritise next. Player input will be critical to making wake world reach it's potential!”
