About This Game

In the war-torn land of Edyssa, two opposing kingdoms—Bastion and Crescent—devastate the continent with their conflict. With the kingdoms' armies diverted toward the war, a new class of heroes, Adventurers, arise to protect the populace from monsters and crime. You are Albert Cross, Bladeseer of the neutral party Caeruleum. Accompanying you is Alice Starwell, a prodigious Swordsmaiden. As Caeruleum's leader, raise your party to dizzying heights and etch your name into the annals of Edyssian history!

Classic JRPG Foundations... With a Twist!

Empyreal Dawn is a visual novel at its core, but it features traditional, turn-based combat for special encounters! Don't just read about your conquests; participate in them! Just like classic JRPGs, boss battles are difficult, long, and accompanied by epic musical arrangements.

However, our focus on unique battles discards the monotony, such as random encounters and grinding. Instead, battles are limited to major enemies and bosses, ensuring every encounter is thoughtful and distinct. Your character's power is decided by your choices in the story, not how long you've spent hitting buttons.

Having difficulty with objectives? Try aligning with one of the powerful kingdoms to access their formidable armaments. Or, perhaps search for forgotten relics and unlock our heroes' latent powers....

Dynamic Choices and Replayability

As Caeruleum's leader, you decide which quests to accept and whom to forge bonds with. You may even choose to align yourself to one of the kingdoms, or not at all! Each route in Empyreal Dawn features unique experiences and endings, rewarding subsequent playthroughs. Be warned: not all fantasies end like fairytales! One character's salvation may be another's downfall.​

Scored by Japanese composer "ruha," Empyreal Dawn features original songs tailored to invoke the wonders of exploring a fantasy JRPG world. Rejoice in humanity's majesty with Crescent's regal strings, or partake in brooding contemplation with Bastion's haunting percussion!
