Varför Early Access?

“The game was developed with the community in mind. Features and mechanics were left at a bare minimum because we want to connect with our community through our various channels, to allow them to influence the direction of development by participating in discussion, providing feedback and suggestions, voting, and participating in polls.
Together with our community, we will develop a final product with game features and mechanics that have been chosen by the community and fully meets their needs and desires.
Our moto is: We are the developers; you are the designers.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access for around twelve months.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The full version will work off of the foundation mechanics (capture the flag type gameplay with sprint and dash) put in place in this Early Access version, to add in features, mechanics, characters, character customization options, items, you name it, into the final version based off of feedback, suggestions, votes, and polls from the community.
Since the start of development, this game has been intended to be a blank page for our community to fill with their most wild videogaming desires: as long as the rest of the community agrees, and the content is appropriate, we will implement.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version is currently in an early Alpha state where we have laid down a base layer of visuals, mechanics and features that allow the game to function, and where we will work together with our community to make it flourish with awesome new mechanics and features.
Please refer to the "About This" section for more details about the currently implemented features.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“No it will not. The game will always be free.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“The community will be able to participate actively in ALL ongoing decisions regarding the game. Channels will be set up on Twitter and Discord to allow the community to participate in discussion, provide suggestions, take polls, and vote on suggestions provided either by Limited Unleashed or by the community. The website will also be set up to receive feedback from players who prefer not to join our other communities.”

Om detta spel

Limited Unleashed is an independently developed, community funded initiative with the mission to recuperate as many popular releases as possible from the secondary markets to drop them in a free-to-play virtual experience.

After creating your ideal character using the character customization menu which features popular styles and accessories, the player is dropped into an open field, outside of a massive cylindrical impenetrable red wall with up to 100 other players. At the time of the drop, the wall disintegrates, and the release is dropped from the sky. Race as fast as you can while managing your Stamina as you Sprint and Dash your way to be the first to reach the releasing drop first.

But, the work's not done once you've obtained the release! With the drop in hand, the wall becomes visible again, but blue, and the character generates a pulse that knocks nearby players to the ground; return to the outer boundary of the wall without being intercepted by another dashing player to take home the WIN. Other players can still dash into you for the interception, knocking you to the ground, and stealing the drop, so watch your back and stay on the move!

Limited Unleashed is currently in Early Access, where limited sessions will be hosted at defined times on a regular basis, and game features and mechanics have willingly been kept at a minimum. We invite the community to participate in the development and expansion of features by joining in discussion, providing suggestions, voting and taking part in polls through our various channels.
