Varför Early Access?

“We want to improve Kitsune Battlemage based upon player feedback and allow players who purchase early access to be a guiding influence in the development of Kitsune Battlemage. There are many features that still need to be added, bugs fixed, and processes improved. I believe early access is a good choice at this point in the games development phase.”

“We're not sure. Light single-player elements need to be refactored and put back into the game, the player progression system needs testing and tuning, and there are plans for additional characters, skins, maps, and elements which will need to be balanced. That said the goal is to not stay in early access for long.”

“The goal is for the full version to be a more complete game that has been created with community guidance. The additional features mentioned in the previous section, quality of life improvements, and more performance optimizations are planned so far.”

“Currently testing has shown that players can host games and invite players for team deathmatch as well as queue in matchmaking to join games hosted by dedicated servers. There is a "practice mode" which is an empty where players can test skills out while also waiting for a matchmaking game. There is a leveling system with skill unlocks that needs to be tuned and balanced.”

“It's entirely possible.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We currently have a discord server, a twitter, page, and a subreddit as the main ways of keeping communication lines open with the community. We hope that early access will attract the attention of players who are interested in closed playtests where features will be ironed out before being pushed to the public early access.”
