Dash Cup Kickers started with an already pretty feature-rich demo for an arcade soccer game. It could be also released as a is, without a refined career mode for the single player. However, I decided against a simple career mode and have a vision for a longer sustainable arcade soccer (end) game, that has a great stadium builder that engages to play the game in new and fresh ways.»

«My plan for Dash Cup Kickers is to gradually transition to the full release when more big features are implemented and the game can be filled with more content. I hope for 2024.»

Чем планируемая полная версия будет отличаться от версии в раннем доступе?

«I have a lot of ideas and plans for the full version. I am thinking about including more tutorials (with coach), more interactive stage objects, shrines (boosting/decreasing team stats) and rule changers (like pump shots count twice as goal, dashes need super power etc). I can't promise, that all listed features will be in the final version and it is possible that features will be dropped or changed. I am also researching more super skills and other game play mechanics.»

Каково текущее состояние версии в раннем доступе?

«The current version allows to play single matches alone or with others in VS mode (up to 4 locally, against one other online randomly). Stadium, difficulty and own team can be setup. Now, it is great for local multiplayer parties or for casual play.

Additionally, it also gives an glimpse how the career mode will be, but is in its state way shorter than the planned career mode. It has several matches that can be played offline to unlock more matches. Every match includes small extra challenges, that will give bonus rewards (new skills/stadium builder/stats boosts), once they are completed. For one match, the stadium builder must be unlocked and used, so that one match is a custom stadium. Online play in career mode, will not work now (no PvP matches and no highscores/ranking), but is planned to come later.

It will take approx. 2h to complete the current career mode.»

«I want to create feedback rounds, polls/votings and interviews with the community on Steam Forums, Discord and on the Dash Cup Kickers website to improve and fine-tune the game. I will use the communitys feedback to help prioritize which features should be done before others and I am also open to hear new ideas for inspiration.
