《极品飞车：不羁》是系列的第22部作品，游戏在视觉效果上说是独一无二也毫不夸张，漂移时的漫画特效炫酷至极。但是光凭视觉上的享受并不能给玩家带来叱咤街头的感觉，本作中竞争对手的AI攻击性极强，想要跑第一容错率极低，让人非常恼火。而游戏的另一个缺点就是太肝，为了让玩家少赚点银子，参加比赛竟然还要报名费，一场比赛下来连个轮胎都买不起。”
