CHART A NEW WORLD

You’ve come here to make a new start for humanity, but in the process discover a world teeming with intriguing life, mysterious artifacts, and strange phenomena. Scan the flora, fauna, geological and alien landmarks to understand the environment’s function and value.

As you explore, you encounter perilous terrain, unpredictable weather, and local wildlife that is wary of your presence. Build familiarity with the planet and its inhabitants to steer weather systems and creature behaviour, and in the process forge a path through a world that’s not entirely welcoming to your presence. Your footprint will not go unnoticed though, as the planet and its wildlife will also be watching, and reacting to, your every action.


UNLIMITED INVENTION

Necessity is the mother of invention - words that have driven humanity forward throughout time. You must traverse and adapt to multiple biomes, ranging from tranquil glades and rolling hills, to wind-sheared canyons and frigid tundra. From small handheld scanners to massive canyon-spanning bridges, save your inventions as blueprints to be shared and iterated on by members of your expedition and the wider community.

With few combat options at your disposal, you’ll have to prepare deployable craftables for any eventuality; rapidly deploy a launchpad to send that rampaging beast flying or have a vehicle ready-to-go to escape to temporary safety. With millions of potential combinations, flex your creative muscles to make bespoke vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure from a wide range of functionality fragments.


SURVIVE AND UNCOVER

Survival requires a deep understanding of the ecosystem as your discoveries fuel your ability to invent the infrastructure, equipment, and vehicles needed to progress. They also reveal cryptic patterns all around you, tied into the ecosystem and linked to ancient alien relics. Delve deeper into the planet to unravel its secrets and determine your fate on this captivating new world.

In THE SIGNAL you’ll use your inventiveness and curiosity to unearth a brand-new universe with questions about our relationship with the environment and technology. Do the mysterious patterns emanating from once dormant alien ruins help or hinder your expedition and will you be ready to make decisions that could alter the path of humanity?

We’re a small team that’s committed to creating worlds and memorable experiences for players. Our studio was founded in Montreal, Canada in September 2021 and became fully independent in July 2023. The Signal is the first game we are making together as a team and we look forward to sharing this sci-fi journey with you.
