Set and Setting



A wandering consciousness that decides to forge her own path. Equipped with her extreme mobility, a melee attack, and a ranged dagger, Jade embarks on a psychedelic 3D bullet hell arcade odyssey as she tries to sever the web of suffering and escape the cycle of deaths and rebirths. Bounce, dodge, fly, and fight the illusions of material and immaterial reality in this new kind of bullet hell.

  • Arcade Style Gameplay

    No overt story, quick intense action, difficult and punishing gameplay, enhanced with local best times and scores. Changa is perfect for that 10 minute - 2 hour gameplay session where fun is the focus.

  • Extreme Mobility

    Changa encourages wild movement and creativity like never before. Use your environment to dash, jump, dive, slam, arrow teleport, and fly, all while attacking and shooting with no cooldowns.

  • Melee and Ranged Attacks

    With your melee attack and projectiles (with optional homing), defend yourself against the onslaught of the entities of suffering.

  • Difficult

    The entities of suffering are pervasive, persistent, and deadly. Can you survive the Illusions of Mara on your journey to the cessation of suffering?

  • Psychedelic Universe

    Enter the Hyperspace: is it a place before birth and after death, a transition place, or a place of your own making? Enjoy a colorful and artistic world filled with ever-changing colors and wonderful contrast inspired by life.

  • Seed-Based Mechanics

    Enable a random seed or use a custom one to impact enemy spawning and positions. Practice and try to improve your times and scores using the custom seeds. Keep it fresh and unpredictable with random seeds enabled for a fresh look each time you select a level from the Knot.

  • Replayability

    The movement system, seed-based spawning of enemies, combined with arcade and speedrunning elements encourages replayability. The Best Times screen keeps a log of your best times and scores.

Early Access Launch



Changa is hitting Early Access with one complete difficulty of 10 maps, with a second difficulty coming soon after release. A single playthrough will test your resolve and your creativity in movement, reactions, and planning on the fly. Expect somewhere in the 2-8 hour range for a first playthrough on the base difficulty.
