«While I do periodically test my own changes and have my own list of to-do's to make the game as solid and complete as possible, outside perspectives definitely help with figuring out what's missing and what needs fixing through constructive feedback.»

«Because I am a one-man team developing this in my spare time, I hope to have a 'full' release in anywhere from 1-2 years. I've built the foundation, and now it's a matter of expanding on it.»

«While the game is fully playable as it is, I am still developing additional modular content (such as new maker tiles and player character abilities) and quality-of-life features. These additions are non-essential for play, but will flesh out and polish the game for the future full release. I aim to keep Worlds created in older versions of the game to be forward-compatible with newer releases.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«In its current state, all the basics of the game are implemented: Make a world, playtest it, and play it! Currently the maker tile selection is limited relative to the full palette of what I want to implement and add, but that selection will grow over time. The sound and art design and assets also subject to change for the better. For all intents, please treat all of the art and audio as placeholders for the time being.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«There may be a minor price rise or two within Early Access as new content and features are released. This may include the transition to leaving Early Access.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«It has always been a dream of mine to develop a game, and the Community will play an additional part in that motivation through their purchases and constructive feedback. Whether players have suggestions for maker tiles or improvements, find a bug or a gameplay exploit, or just want to vocalize their belief in the project, they will be helping me push this project along with even more passion.»

Make, play, and share your own tile-based Metroidvania world!

In the map maker, create your own world with drag-and-drop maker tiles that include:
  • Destructible and indestructible terrain,
  • Collectable abilities ranging from weapon upgrades to additional jumps,
  • Various enemy types with unique behaviors,
  • Start points, checkpoints, and goal points,
  • and more to come as development progresses!

Each world can consist of up to 81 rooms (9x9). Each room consists of 377 tile locations (29x13), and wall tiles that can be replaced with connecting doorways to other rooms. That's over 30,000 tiles of space per world!

Playtest your design one room at a time, or from the starting point. Once you're satisfied with your world, playtest it from start to finish to generate a world file that you can share with friends through Steam Workshop!

Content will be added periodically as development progresses through Early Access, including new maker tiles, new abilities and properties, updated sound and art, and other improvements.
