Climb forth seeker, and face the terrors of the Monolith! 

Perilous Pairs is a short action rogue-like where you’ll need to think quick and react quicker if you want to survive. Dodge and hop your way across three treacherous boss fights as you match cards to activate helpful abilities on your way to victory.

Defy your destiny

As an Aphid you have lived your whole life in the shadows of the Monolith, toiling away mindlessly to the benefit of your overlords above. Until one day, from the depths of your mind, a quiet voice rises with one simple command: “climb.”

The ever shifting stones of time 

Be sure to keep your wits about you, as the Monolith is no simple tower. Watch as the battlefield shifts and expands, with randomized board layouts ensuring that no two runs are the same!

After each fight you’ll choose one upgrade from an arsenal of items. Whether improving your health, deflecting bullets, or aiding you with guiding light, these pieces of treasure will prove invaluable to you as you brave the perilous heights.
