O tej grze

Grim Road is a roguelike with turn-based combat set in a hopeless dark world. The Sun has disappeared, and heroes have to travel through dying lands to slay Archdemons and get a chance for humanity to survive.

It's Gothic, it's Black&White, and has a lot of dithering.

Gameplay

The catch is that you, the player, play not as those heroes but as an Angel guiding them. Cast different spells, and manipulate the flow of battle like a puppet master. But spells cost light and dark energy, which you gain by your squad members' actions.

It's all about managing squad members, spells pool, and energy levels.

Journey

As your team travels through dark dying lands, they will have to search for food, solve moral dilemmas and meet mysterious characters. Everything your heroes do affects their mental state, their growth as characters and fighters.


Hunger is just one problem they have to deal with - as they have to make tough choices, their mental state and moral compass can be damaged or even broken. But as a guide with a purpose, you can use even this to your advantage, building a team of dark and corrupted half-humans.



Many mysterious inhabitants of the world can share stories or present... unique opportunities to your team.

Misery and failure awaits everyone who dares to walk the Grim Road. But also an eventual triumph and many new, different paths to take.
