Varför Early Access?

“We've been dedicated to Monstrous Frontier since 2019, and now we believe we have a unique and immersive experience to bring to our players. But because this is a unique mix of genres, we need your involvement to help us refine our game's gameplay and turn it into something solid.

We already have the core game mechanics in place, now we need your help and feedback to define what doesn't work and refine what works, balance the pace of the game, find the best balance between the strategy and simulation elements, and ensure that the mechanics around the adventurers are satisfactory even without the player's full control.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“With the content we have planned, we expect the game to be complete within 6 months to 1 year of development depending on feedback and involvement from our community”

“We already have 60% of the planned content, which you can see below, that will be shaped according to community feedback and we have already planned 2 more citizens Tiers with their package of buildings, resources and mechanics, more classes of adventurers and new types of dungeons with their inhabitants just behind.”

“We already have all the main management mechanics with resource collection and refinement, 3 citizen Tiers implemented, each with its own building package, increasingly complex resources and unique requirements, along with them we have 6 unique adventurers, and 6 monsters with different behaviors to be hunted with our Quest creation system, accompanied by 1 type of dynamically generated dungeon to be explored.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes. We plan that the price of the game will be scaled according to the amount of content that is made available.”

“The Monstrous Frontier” is a turn-based city builder, in which you play as the mayor of a new colony in an uncharted land. It's up to the player to manage this new colony, collect and refine resources, meet the needs of its citizens and keep them safe from the creatures of the frontier.

As your city evolves, new types of citizen will begin to move to your colony with each time more demands to keep themselves happy, requiring the gather and creation of new resources through more complex production lines.

To keep your colony protected, you must attract adventurous travelers through the evolution of your territory, but they cannot traditionally be controlled. You must create Quests of multiple different types to direct them with the promise of a gold reward.
