“Bard Idle is a game with great potential in terms of combinations of random weapons, unit classes and races, as well as the random strings that make up the ballad. There are already a lot of possible combinations in the game, but we see that it's possible to add a lot more.

In addition, we want to make sure that the game will be worth playing for a pretty long time (months, if not years!). We'd like to better understand what mechanics would be most interesting to our players. That's why we want to put the game out now, so we can work with players to develop it.

Bard Idle is not only IDLE, the game also contains elements of RPG games and auto-battlers. These games need a well practiced balance and the feedback from players would help us sharpen it.

Also, being an IDLE game, Bard Idle should combine active play (where the player is required to constantly interact with the game) and passive play (where the characters can be left alone and progress on their own). We need to make sure that we support both of these styles of playing. And we're counting on the players to help with that, too.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“The game will be in Early Access for six months. The game will continue to evolve even after full release.”

“Until the full launch, we will spend time balancing gameplay and adding new content. We want to add more classes, weapons, magic, and different races of units. We want to develop a ballad creation system.

We plan to add new game modes:

• Hero's Path.

• Training
  
• Battle of the Titans

In addition, we will be adding new types of maps and locations.”

“The game is fully playable!

The game has 16 classes, 20 weapons, 6 races. Heroes at generation get random weapon, class and race. And the team consists of several heroes. All this gives a huge number of random combinations!

The game presents a ballad creation system. Create a ballad of your choice to support your playing style and enhance your team of heroes!

An important aspect of the game is the jelly dwarves. A jelly dwarf will help improve your favorite character -- and it also gives the game extra depth.

The game has a map and several locations.”
