Why Early Access?

“Blissful Acres will grow with times and new systems will consistently be added.

Systems can always use more data before you consider them done. I want to get feedback for these systems before I consider the game a finished product. Ultimately, the user will determine what these systems end up doing to optimize how much joy the game brings to a player.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly May 2025. One year from the release. The systems will have been fleshed out enough to be considered a full game. This will once again be driven by users who play the game and give feedback. When most of the 'must-haves' have been implemented, the game will be V1.0”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have a fully polished gem! All the edge cases you get with game development will be dealt with and users who want to explore caves will have a polished experience and the other users who want to spend their time on the farm will also have a polished experience.

Additional bosses, additional crops, additional townsfolk.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current game has all the features presented on the store page. The systems have been thoroughly thought through from the perspective of a game designer but will change with time based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I believe that the more the game has to offer, the more in will be worth. So yeah, the price will go up in time as there is more and more to do in the game.”

About This Game

Clean up your farm and start by sewing your first seed. Progress your farm by cleaning it up, working the land and bringing it into the future. Manual labor is slow but with the advances in technology creeping their way into Blissful Acres, you will find yourself automating your farm for maximum output.

Features
  • Farming. Your farm is your life. Strategically build it for efficiency and safety. Animals will destroy your fences, the sun will dry up your crops, deer will eat your crops. Your crops can have randomized traits that can be extracted and added to other plants!
  • Skills. Every node you mine, every tree you cut, every crop you sew and harvest all gain you experience! The more skillful you become, the more you will be able to do!
  • Townsfolk. Blissful Acres is full of interesting townsfolk. Spend some time getting to know them. Maybe they'll give you an item, advice or choose to shop at your store over a competitors!
  • Competition. Its not as simple as just selling your goods. You have to out-sell your competitors! Set your prices, curse your competition and make good relationships with the locals to ensure your old produce stand thrives!
  • Exploration. Explore and battle with enemies in a procedurally generated cave system. The rarest of items exist within these depths and its up to you to explore and find items that will enrich your farm!
  • Enchantment. High quality items are key in everything you do in Blissful Acres. Better armor will save you from the depths. Better tools will allow you to manipulate the landscape quickly and effectively. In Blissful Acres, there is no ceiling! You can infinitely enchant your items!
  • Decoration. Use tiles, decorations and lights to make your farm truly yours. A unique farm for a unique farmer!
