What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access is invaluable for indie developers. This game is being released as early access in order to make it a reality. It is a one man project so to make this game reach the high potential it has, a lot of outsourcing has to be done, which is an obstacle can be overcame by going hand in hand with the community it will create.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A major content patch is planned to be released every few months until the game is complete with each patch containing additional characters, areas and continuation of the story.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Many more maps and Indefinite number of allies will be introduced in the upcoming versions which will deeply affect the gameplay. Also story will grow into more different storylines in the versions to come.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early release of the game contains Act 1 of the game. Full release is planned to have 4 acts with multiple storylines and multiple endings so the current release is more than adequate to give the player fun content to play while giving an idea of what the future releases hold.. Game mechanics are fully implemented in the early release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing will not be changed during Early access. May be increased upon full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Project will be developed hand in hand with community. They will beard on every step of the development process whether it be game mechanics or to steer the story.”

About This Game

Once, there was peace in these lands. There was tranquility. People were happy with their ordinary lives. They were glad to get by with what they had. Until one day, the most powerful wizard of the realm, Taeippa, not content with being the most powerful, attempts to become a god.

Things couldn’t have gone worse. Not realizing that the ritual he performed to become a God was a trick of the Devil, Taeippa opened a portal to the world from the depths of hell.

Thus began the children of the Devil's thousands of years of chaos reign, who passed through the portal one by one to bring destruction and suffering to the land.
Castles and cities of men fell one by one. Only a few villages that no one cares about remains. Here, a spark for an uprising against the reign of evil, begins in one of these villages, with a villager no one cared about.

Ludicrous Uprising is a side scrolling JRPG with tactical turn-based battles, with awesome pixel art mixed with beautiful hand-drawn battle scenes and a ludicrous story that will crack you up.

Game is in early access and will be regularly updated after the initial release.

Join the (ridiculous) adventure of Kaemill and his allies in the attempt of freeing the lands of Prassa from the hands of evil Taeippa.
