I want the players to shape this app/game and give it its direction. Not just a dev twirling a pen around behind a desk blindly guessing what players want.”

“Around 6 months - but this could change depending on feedback from players. Of course, I will continue to listen to and implement player ideas after full release and well into the future.”

“It will just be the same price to keep things simple. I am not going to increase the price. I am also not going to pin any paid DLC to this app/game ever. One price for the whole game including any future DLC.”

Bagaimana anda merancang untuk melibatkan Komuniti dalam proses pembangunan anda?

“For the sister app for this game 'Boot Camp Fitness' I shaped the game based on player ideas and feedback. The players took control of the direction of the game and it was and still is so much fun talking to and sharing ideas with players. I want to do the same for 'Hypnotix' - I want people to feel free to post up any ideas they have in the community section and I will read and consider them all with an open mind. Small suggestions, big ideas, ideas for improvements and constructive criticism are all welcome.

I have learnt that it is way, way more fun to build an app/game with players rather than for players.”

What is Hypnotix?

Hypnotix is a guided meditation mindfulness app which will take you on a different journey every time you click 'Start'.

This app is not for the faint of heart, as you will need to completely let go and prepare to be taken to unknown places within your mind . . .

Featuring:

* Algorithms that put together a different meditation journey each time, by chaining different sound files into varying combinations.
* Hundreds of meditation sound files.
* Mystery lockboxes and other awards to unlock, as a reward for time spent in meditation.

What is the aim of this app?

The focus is on you 100%. My aim is to help you unwind, relax, and take you on many exotic, unpredictable, mysterious and fun journeys.

How is this app different to most other meditation apps?

The guided meditations are put together using algorithms which build a different relaxing experience every time, using hundreds of different sound files. The guided meditations are almost hypnotic. Hypnotix is a sister app to 'Boot Camp Fitness' but focusing on mindfulness and relaxation rather than physical health and exercise.

This is not your standard, hit the spacebar and time your mediations app.

Can I control the journey in any way?

No, you will have no control whatsoever, which gives Hypnotix its appeal. There are some player settings where you can turn on or off suggestions for healthy eating, regular exercise, stress management, confidence building etc, but beyond that you will have no control. However, despite being unorthodox and unpredictable Hypnotix only takes you to positive places.

The development road map

The aim is to add more and more mystery journey meditation sound files to expand the game further and further. With many journeys shaped and influenced by players.

When using Hypnotix, please find a safe space where you can close your eyes, either by lying down or sitting comfortably. Do not use this app when driving, using heavy machinery or any other activity that requires waking attention.
