What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The community has been a huge part of ZERO Sievert since the very beginning of the original Kickstarter campaign. Our goal has always been to make the best single-player extraction shooter we possibly can, and to do so, we’ve aimed to be transparent throughout the development process. Community feedback has been a major part in building a great game and we intend to continue in this way in the lead up to 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While we don't have an exact date in mind, ZERO Sievert will remain in Early Access until we feel it’s the best version possible. We have a vision in mind for the final version of the game but this will also depend on player feedback and community sentiment!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have more maps, levels, weapons and customisation. We are also looking to have controller support and localisation so that everyone can enjoy ZERO Sievert! We are also leaving some room for additional features to be added to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We’ve just hit the one year milestone for the game, as it stands, ZERO Sievert contains five procedurally-generated maps to scavenge, around 50 weapons to choose from, over 150 weapon add-ons, a whole quest and story system, faction relations, throwables and mines, regular seasonal events with exclusive loot and much much more!

Our most recent addition has included a whole gun system overhaul, allowing players to experience high skills gameplay mechanics in an indie game. We’ve also got fancy new loading screens, new more advanced enemies on top of a heap of new weapons and accessories.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price to increase slightly at the 1.0 release to reflect the added polish and new content, this is also a way to reward early adopters during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love getting feedback from players, any and all players keen to get involved are welcome to share it in our Discord server of around 50k hunters. We have a dedicated community and player experience managers to listen to and analyse your feedback, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard! Our Discord is also a great place to show off gear, join in community contests and connect with other hunters!”

About This Game

The world has ended. ZERO Sievert charges you with scavenging equipment across multiple areas, all set in an atmospheric fictitious post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe setting. Your base of operations, the bunker, is filled with traders, modding stations, and areas to make your own, providing you with progression across your excursions into the wild.

Once you’re out in the wilds of the wasteland, however, the situation becomes a lot less secure. Across the five biomes of the game, you’ll initially be armed with little more than a gun and a bottle of water, after which point it’s up to you to recover items, take out bandits, and most importantly, get back alive.

And be warned; the nuclear fallout may have impacted some of the local wildlife…

A wasteland to explore

Procedurally generated maps make every journey different, with ever-changing hiding spots, loot locations, and layouts. With over five maps to explore, be sure to adapt and learn each one's secrets to get in, get out, and get better.

Full weapon modification

Hunt in a way that suits your playstyle, with over 35 unique guns and 150 mods that can be combined to make you the biggest threat in the wastes of ZERO Sievert. Create a weapon that suits your style or focus on stats to become the ultimate hunter.

Looting and questing

Multiple questlines guide you through the world of ZERO Sievert. Through talking with a range of characters you’ll slowly unravel information and lore about the world that’s been left behind. Alongside this, there are more than 100 different items to loot which can be used to craft new items, upgrade your own base, and trade.
