Releasing games in Early Access has proven to be a powerful tool when it comes to communicating with the audience and using that feedback to reach a better result. This is why we've decided to release Universe 51: Tannhäuser Wars in Early Access, so you can play it during its early development phase and give us your feedback.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We plan on leaving Early Access on May 13th 2023.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

At full launch we plan to have these (and potentially more):

Cosmetics
Achievements
Level progression system
Friend invite system
More weapons
More gameplay features (teleport pads, etc)
Better visuals and audio
Better optimization
More customization

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Released on May 13th 2022, the Early Access is currently in a well-structured state which allows for further development, adding maps, weapons, and introducing new game mechanics.

This means you can do a full match from start to finish. On top of that you have graphics and audio settings, as well as keybind customization.

Through our own Discord server we will (and already do) interact with the community very closely, and through regular playing sessions we will obtain feedback from the community.

Universe 51: Tannhäuser Wars is a free-to-play fast-paced multiplayer FPS, taking inspiration from games like DOOM and Quake.

Two unfamiliar groups are mysteriously teleported to the same location. Since communication between them is impossible or undesirable, they clash!

Game Modes


For now, there's a casual team deathmatch mode.

In team deathmatch, each team starts with a set number of points, called tickets. Respawning consumes tickets from your team's ticket pool. When a team reaches 0 tickets and all its members are dead, that team loses.

We're currently focused on increasing the player base. Sometimes it might be difficult to find game servers, but you can always join the Discord server and look for someone to play with. We have a matchmaking channel for that exact purpose.
