From the hillside settlements of the northern clans to the bustling marketplaces of the Erlantian capital, most every child is told the tale of The Shifting Isle, a land filled with extraordinary magics and disquieting specters which will surely pluck them from their beds if they don't do as they are told.

Now, in this first age of nations, rumor spreads that the legend has become reality. Somewhere within the waves and whirlpools of the central archipelago, an island blanketed in ruins has appeared along with inexplicable happenings surrounding it.

Follow the accounts of the four adventurers, cast from all corners of the continent, who discovered the truth of The Shifting Isle.

Turn-Based Tactics Woven Into Adventure Exploration

In Bolero, tactical battles will play out on the very same stage as the exploration! We're calling it a Tactics-Adventure game, drawing a parallel with the beloved top-down Action-Adventure games we've enjoyed across the decades. All of your party member's skills will have applications for the exploration and tactical gameplay portions.

Roles

Each hero brings their own repertoire of skills from their disparate lands, manifested in their Role. Each hero's role provides a totally different gameplay experience for four approaches to exploration and four unique flavors of tactics to master!

Fighter

Chain together longer combos to stun foes out of ever acting.

Sentinel

Guard allies and thwart foes' turns with Reaction skills.

Scholar

Plot actions ahead of time to conjure offensive and defensive ranged magics.

Duelist

Draw cards from an enchanted deck to summon ephemeral allies and unleash potent powers.
