Miksi Early Access?

We really believe in the power of community-informed game development and the Early Access model is the best way to harness this! We want to connect with the community to validate our decisions around game features, and content in Eyes of Hellfire.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

It will depend on a few things! For example, a lot will depend on how development evolves after we launch Early Access and what the community tells us about our game. All going well, we foresee Eyes of Hellfire to be approximately one year (or 12-18 months) in Early Access. But that being said, even when Eyes of Hellfire is no longer in Early Access, we hope to keep it updated using all the key principles our team used when creating the game itself! We’re excited to see you all play.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We want to launch Early Access as early as possible in our development process so that we can get YOU, the players, involved in testing our game. Early Access launch will include one full scenario and five playable characters all with unique passive abilities. There will also be personal goals to achieve. Utilising proximity chat, we want EA to be a solid experience so that players get used to our mechanics, features and content.

We expect the full version to include viable changes from suggestions we receive from the community such as general fixes, but also sizeable new content, new characters and gameplay features.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current build provides players with a collaborative multiplayer experience through proximity chat.

Enter the grounds of the Hellfire Club. Cautiously explore, cooperate, evade the violent entities within the lodge and discover what you can while you each attempt to lift your curse. Escape before your soul is lost.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We anticipate the price increasing when we bring Eyes of Hellfire out of Early Access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We intend to regularly post about the game in our studio Discord and post occasional, larger updates on Steam. However, we don’t plan to use the Steam forums as our primary community or communication hub.

Our Discord is a safe environment where the community can share feedback with our game development team and other players. Player feedback will help shape the overall experience of Eyes of Hellfire as we move the game closer to completion.

Step into the shadowed halls of the Hellfire Club, where something, or someone, is always lying... Eyes of Hellfire is a richly atmospheric gothic horror cooperative game that plunges you and up to 4 of your friends into a cursed lodge. The game is based on real Irish legends of the secret society known as the Hellfire Club, resulting in a scenario filled with secrets, monsters, and a creeping sense of dread.

Each player harbours a hidden curse, twisting their abilities and motives, as they explore the ever-shifting rooms of the lodge. With a dynamic card-management system that changes turn by turn, you'll need to strategise carefully, share discoveries, and combine your strengths to solve cryptic puzzles, uncover unsettling lore, and survive the escalating threats that roam the manor.

But beware, the Host is always watching. This manipulative entity plays with reality itself, distorting what players perceive, trust, and believe. As paranoia sets in, will your group stay united long enough to escape? Or will the lodge claim you all?

With its blend of narrative-driven exploration, clever puzzles, and escalating tension, Eyes of Hellfire is perfect for fans of cooperative horror games like Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Mansions of Madness.

You and your friends play as a small group of unfortunate people who have recently discovered that they have each become a victim of a potentially fatal curse. They have hiked through the thick woods of the Dublin mountains and travelled to the ruins of the Hellfire Club in the hopes of discovering what connects them to this place and what, or who, has brought this curse upon them all.

You and your team have a common goal of escaping the haunted lodge while also defeating the Antagonist. But you each also have hidden solo objectives. Which will you prioritize? You must succeed at both to win. Use proximity voice chat to plot together with teammates, as well as question their motives.

Choose from a variety of characters, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Your choice will impact what you see in each play session; you’ll have to decide if it’s real or not.

Build your hand of actions: Each playthrough you start with a hand of cards that equal actions that can be done each turn, limited by your action points. As you explore the lodge, you’ll discover new and better action cards to alter your playthrough.
