What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I want users to experience what part of the game is already made. It will also give everyone a chance to influence the development of this game by providing feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current plan is to reach the full release in about 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

  • The full version is planned to have an extra "challenges" mode, which will allow users to complete individual challenges in a puzzle-like manner. Completing a challenge will unlock the next one. Each challenge becomes harder than the last.
  • Different kinds of opponents are planned to be added, each with a unique AI.
  • A generic update on graphics, and animation polish, including adding new backgrounds, more opponents and a setting screen.
  • This is a card game, using one deck for all players. There are vague plans of allowing multiple different decks to be combined together, for more varied gameplay.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Users can start a "Custom Game" with specific settings, including changing the number of opponents. This will start one Match, against AI opponents. There is an optional tutorial that explains the rules of the game.

During the Match, the user is able to select which card to play, and attempt to influence the wandering rose card to be in front of them at the end of the round, which will cause them to lose cards over time.

The winner is the player who has two or less cards in their hands at the end of the round.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base game is planned to remain free and open-source.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm keeping an eye on any type of feedback sent to me, either on a social media profile, or in the Steam community forums. Users are highly encouraged to tag me and let me know about any ideas they have on this game.”
