„Mapama Pirates is a passion project I’ve been developing solo for over 1.5 years. Early Access gives me the opportunity to grow this game together with the community. Your feedback helps me understand which features work well, what still needs polish, and what ideas might still be missing. The goal is to create a technically solid, deep, and living MMO experience — and the best way to do that is with your input.”

Immerse yourself in the boundless world of Mapama, an MMO filled with adventure, naval battles, and treasures! Command your own ship and sail through a vast ocean, visiting numerous ports where you can stock up on provisions for your crew, trade goods, and acquire valuable upgrades for your ship.

You begin humbly with a small single-masted sloop, armed with two cannons. However, by skillfully gathering wood, ores, and other resources, you can constantly improve your ship. Rise to command the mighty ketch, or dominate the seas aboard a grand galleon or frigate.


In the world of Mapama, there are numerous professions you can master:

  • Carpentry

  • Metalworking

  • Naval Combat

  • Navigation

  • Fishing

  • Trade

The further you advance in your chosen profession, the more powerful your abilities become: whether it's faster gathering of rare resources, more efficient naval battles, or better trade deals in the ports. Your success depends on your expertise!

The ocean is full of dangers and mysteries: face mighty ghost ships, plunder enemy trade convoys, go on treasure hunts, or lead your crew to uncharted shores. For the brave, there are also PvP battles where you can prove your skills against other players.

Organize yourself with friends in a party or join a guild. Together, you can influence pricing in ports and even conquer entire towns. In parties, gold and experience are fairly shared as you sail across the seas.

Your ship is your lifeline—equip it with better sails, stronger cannons, and a magnificent figurehead. Every decision you make brings you closer to becoming the ultimate pirate captain.
