In the 90s, for the shy Jake—a gamer and noir novel enthusiast—and his brave friend Lucy, their small hometown holds no future. Seeking new opportunities in the city, Jake begins a romance with Nina, a wealthy and fascinating girl, but one who is also unsettling and full of secrets.

Their relationship becomes complicated when Jake suffers from a strange illness—poison, madness, or something even darker? With each episode, he is thrust between two different eras, stripped of his memories, unable to distinguish reality, and feeling as if a faceless destiny is pulling the strings of his fate.

Trapped between the seemingly harmless modern world and the violent, ruthless gangster underworld of Prohibition, Jake must confront not only a powerful and merciless enemy but also a painful journey of self-transformation. Surrounded by danger and horror, he becomes entangled in brutal mafia wars as well as sinister mysteries beyond his comprehension.

To protect those he loves, he will fight against his hallucinations and fears, struggle with the terrifying suspicion that nothing is as it seems, and be tormented by the collapse of the sacred values he once held dear. But his greatest challenge in this web of time and fate will be to find, among countless paths, the one that leads him back to sanity, love, and the Light. But… how can he be sure he's making the right choice?
