Miksi Early Access?

This is very much an indie game being developed by a single person. After two years of development, the time has come to open up the experience to the public, generate feedback, and use it to take the game to the next level of quality.

The game is planned to spend approximately one year in early access.

The following are the planned additions for the full version of HamsterVeRse:
- Approximately 3-4 times as many complete levels as were included in the INITIAL Early Access version (the majority of levels exist in an alpha state and are planned to be released in Early Access updates on a 1-2 month basis depending on feedback and playtesting). The goal is to have about 12 complete levels. Currently, HamsterVeRse has 8 completed levels!
- The introduction of drivable/pilotable vehicles (currently exists in an alpha state, not yet available on Early Access)
- A vehicle assembly mode that allows for the modular customization and creation of vehicles (currently exists in an alpha state, not yet available on Early Access)
- More options for customization (mainly this is planned to include additional props that can be equipped to the hamsters)
- More voice sets for the hamsters
- Steam Achievements

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of HamsterVeRse already contains the core gameplay loop planned for the final release. The player is able to create and save a persistent profile (or multiple profiles) to store their progress. The customization suite available in the game is fully functional. Gameplay mechanics of the hamsters and the tools available to them are fully functional and playable.
The Early Access version of HamsterVeRse includes:
- 8 (originally 4) complete missions with unlockable challenges and cheats
- The "Hamster Hub" where missions can be replayed and hamsters can be customized to your liking
- Four animate enemy types: The Demonic Pig, Crow, Sea Worm, Cave Worm (only the Demonic Pig upon initial Early Access release)
- Assembly mode, where you can construct level elements during missions
- 3 distinct voice sets for the hamsters
- 3 hamster tools (the magnetic hook, body lamp, and newly introduced gelatin gun)
- Over two dozen customization options

The community is going to be very much included. Feedback and ideas that are submitted WILL be considered and are indeed welcomed. Also, the community will be updated through newsletters, social media, or through other means as to the progress of the game on a monthly basis (if not more frequently).
