F-5C

Northrop F-5C Skoshi Tiger 戰鬥機是 F-5A 的改良型，F-5A 於 1960 年代中期被派往東南亞，在真實的戰鬥條件下進行 F-5 評估計畫。戰機經過改裝，安裝了加油桿，以便在飛行過程中加油，還增加了幾個機身部分的裝甲，並更新了駕駛艙儀表。高級 F-5C 的最高時速可達 1400 公里以上。戰鬥機配備兩門 20 公釐 M39A2 轉輪式機砲。懸吊武器裝備有多種選擇，包括：2 枚 AIM-9B/E Sidewinder 空對空導彈、多達四枚 AGM-12B 導引空對地飛彈、多達 76 枚 FFAR Mighty Mouse 無導引火箭、多達 8 枚 Zuni Mk32 無導引火箭，並且還能夠以各種組合攜帶多達18 枚 250 磅、五枚 750 磅、五枚 500 磅、三枚 1000 磅或一枚 2000 磅炸彈。此外，F-5C 戰鬥機還配備了照明彈和箔條，以作為對抗紅外線和雷達的方式。
