Varför Early Access?

“Farm Defense has much potential to expand and grow. I have chosen to list the game as early access because although it is currently in a functional and enjoyable state, there is much more that can be added. My goals are to work on features and content that is most desired by the players, and release ongoing updates that are driven by community feedback. See below for how I will be gathering that feedback.”

“The intended timeline for Farm Defense would be to exit Early Access in approximately 6-8 months.”

“The full version of Farm Defense will be shaped through community feedback as well as extensive play testing, however there are many features that are already in the works. These include but are not limited to: multiple game modes, player rankings and leaderboards, a deeper progression systems with goals, and a full rework of the 'Ultimate' defenders with unique abilities.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Farm Defense was inspired by the Warcraft 3 mod 'Random Farm'. The game currently has a similar mode with full playthrough ability. Please refer to the games “About This” section as it contains all of the features that are currently implemented.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The goal is to keep the game free after launch. I will be monitoring the viability of optional in-game cosmetic purchases throughout the duration of early access and if that is a sustainable model for the future.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I will be implementing a menu within the game that any player can provide feedback that is sent directly to me. I also plan to do scheduled twitch streams where I will be discussing upcoming updates and asking for community input. In the future I will also be making a discord where players can have open discussions about the game.”
