Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« This game is a passion project of mine that I have been working on since late 2018. I want to be able to get it into the hands of people who want to see it grow and become a finalized game experience. I am currently doing this all as a side-project on top of a full-time job, so early access is the only way that I see that makes sense to get the ball rolling! There is a decent road ahead, but I have every intention of making this musical sandbox game the best it can be! »

« The full version of Mix Universe will be a much more polished experience and come along with a larger range of content and modifications.

I will be looking to add or improve in these areas.
- A much better note editing experience that can be used by people who have 0 musical background to create something that sounds great!
- Upgraded save system so that mixes can be shared more easily on social medias.
- Finishing out "Play Mode" and "Create Mode" separately for a much more fluid experience for those who just want to play other people's mixes.
- More environments
- Larger sound libraries
- Explore mode
- Tons of bug fixing. A game like this has plenty of little UI/UX bugs that all need to be tracked down and fixed. »

« First Playable with emphasis on Audio and Visuals (Less Content). There are still features that aren't completely implemented yet but the core editing interface is working along with the ability to share what you create on the workshop! »

« After early access, it is likely that the price will remain the same or go up slightly. This is all dependent on how the rest of the game is monetized. »

« The community is able to submit bugs and feedback requests through discord and/or a feedback form on the website. Since this game's content and longevity will ultimately be decided by the strength of it's community, the best way to improve the game is to charge head first into what is working right and try to listen and respond to what is NOT working right. »

As you explore the game, you'll discover various ways to connect and create original mixes that radiate good vibes. These mixes can be shared with other Mixonauts through the Steam Workshop, and you can collaborate with others over time to create a truly positive and uplifting experience.

Key Features

Create many different nodes and connect them together to play sounds and visuals.
Sounds can be chosen from a variety of built in libraries (Piano, Drums, Space Strings, Synths, and More)
Sounds can be altered by adding elements to them (Volume, Duration, Attack, Pitch, LFO, Filtering, Reverb, Delay, High Pass, Low Pass, Bit Crush, and More)
Nodes can be moved, rotated, scaled, and snapped to a grid.
Fully functional undo and redo system.
Full Steam Workshop integration for saving and sharing mixes.
Aimed to be friendly to those who are new to music and music creation. This has room for improvement, but is a core pillar of the game that will constantly evolve over time!

Node creation is super easy!

Adding elements to nodes is as simple as clicking and dragging onto the nodes directly.

The entire node editing system is designed to try and make music creation as easy as it can be.
Every note can be edited after being randomly generated.

Drum patterns can be edited very easily.

All editing is built with multiple selections in mind.

There are other node types as well that are purely visual to help you make entire musical worlds!

After a mix is made you can save that and upload it to the steam workshop directly in-game to share with the community workshop. Then others can open up what you make, play it and potentially use it for inspiration to start something they create!

DISCLAIMER: Mix Universe is NOT a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and also is not intended to be used for live performances. The features required to do so are beyond the scope and vision of this game. Mixes currently cannot be exported to any raw musical format for sale, however you are free to take videos and share the content on various social media platforms.
