STORY

You are Hatori, a masked imperial agent sent to the lawless asteroid city Kleopatra to capture a dangerous psychic fugitive. What begins as a straightforward mission unravels into something far more personal.

As you shoot, slash, and fight your way through violent biker gangs, you'll uncover secrets that don't just change the mission. They change who you thought you were. And who you thought you were fighting for.

Kleopatra is a story about grief and forgiveness. About how someone who loved you might remember a version of you that never fully existed. About how time changes us in ways we can't see, and how that might be the only thing that makes forgiveness possible.

COMBAT

Clear enemy waves before HP or TIME runs out. Shoot enemies to build your hit chance, land critical hits, and chain SLASH, SNIPE, and SLICE abilities into devastating combos. Slow down enemy attacks with ASTRAL SHIFT or DODGE at the last moment to avoid damage. Different enemy types require different strategies to break through their defenses.

MOD CHAINS AND UPGRADES

Between waves, draft randomized mods in a roguelite selection. Equip up to three at a time. Each mod alters your stats, but the real power is in how they chain together. Mods trigger off each other in loops, turning careful selections into automatic combo engines.

Earn credits through bounties and invest them in upgrades. Better base stats mean better mods, better mods mean longer chains, longer chains mean higher scores. The loop keeps building.

CHASE HIGH SCORES

Earn high scores through escalating bounties to unlock side missions with dialogue choices. Complete the story to unlock NEW GAME PLUS and an INFINITE BOUNTY endgame mode: an endless run where you can cash out or keep pushing until your HP or TIME hits zero.

CONTROLS AND SUPPORT

Mouse and keyboard controls are recommended. Gamepad controls are included for Steam Deck players. Built with the Ren'Py visual novel engine. For best performance, set your Maximum Processor State to 100% in Power Options.

A love letter to BLADE RUNNER, GHOST IN THE SHELL, and AKIRA, wrapped in arcade combat inspired by TIME CRISIS with a mod chain system built on the spirit of BALATRO.
