Why Early Access?

“White Meridian is built around a living world where stories grow from needs, relationships, and actions instead of following a script written in advance. A world like this cannot be developed without players: they inevitably discover choices its developer never anticipated. Early Access will let me make consequences clearer and grow the parts of the world people truly want to live in.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current estimate is several years. White Meridian is being created by a solo developer, and version 1.0 requires more than additional places and activities: it needs a coherent, resilient world capable of sustaining long stories. The timeframe may change as the game develops, but I will share its current state and near-term goals openly.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access will focus on one dense region where survival, work, relationships, and settlement life already connect. The full version is planned to open a broader northern frontier, with new places and routes, people and conflicts, mysteries of ancient technology and magic, and the ability to found your own settlement. The key difference will not be map size alone, but the depth of the world and the way it responds to your actions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“White Meridian is currently a small playable prototype, not a finished Early Access release. You can already enter its world in first person, alone or with friends, live alongside working characters, intervene in their daily lives, and see consequences persist with the world. The territory, visuals, and variety of situations are still limited; Early Access will begin only when this foundation has grown into a self-contained game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. White Meridian will be sold at a lower price during Early Access. The price will increase with the full 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will share development diaries and test builds, ask players focused questions, and collect not only bug reports but stories that emerged in their worlds. Feedback will help make consequences clearer, choose between prepared directions, and decide which parts of the world should grow next. The game's coherence and final development decisions will remain my responsibility.”

THE NORTH REMEMBERS THE OLD WORLD

At the edge of the inhabited world, a port city faces an unfrozen sea. Beyond its lights lies a white wasteland crossed by an ancient railway, abandoned stations, and structures whose purpose has long been forgotten. In machine halls, manuals are read like prayers. Serial numbers are treated as the true names of machines. No one alive could build them again, yet they keep working—and sometimes answer strangely to the glow in the sky. Here, it is hard to tell where technology ends and magic begins.

YOU ARE NOT THE CHOSEN ONE

You are just another person in need of warmth, work, a roof, and the trust of those around you. Your place is not decided in advance. Your actions shape it: whom you helped, whom you left behind, and what you dared awaken in the ruins of the old world. People remember what happened, settlements change, and failure does not end the story—it opens its next chapter.

FIND YOUR PLACE AMONG THE LIVING

Explore the world in first person—alone or with friends. Follow forgotten lines, bring abandoned places back to life, and protect those who have grown close to you.
