Lords of Cards is a multi-player, real-time deck building game. Create a deck of 90 cards that you select among more than 60 unique cards. Play them to recruit powerful units that fight in your name, build constructions that improve your economy or cast spells with various effects.

Miksi Early Access?

As a solo independent developer working on this project, player's feedback is very important to keep improving the game in the right direction. While in Early Access, the priority will always be to keep the product stable and fun to play, but some major features may change.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Even though there is no fixed plan for what will be part of the game in the end, there is at least some content that will be added before the final release (see next question). Early access will last between 6 and 12 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Everything could change if it reinforces the game in any way. Even if the game is already enjoyable during Early Access, it may lack some content, in terms of cards, avatar customization, game modes.
  • More cards will be added.
  • Some interfaces have been created to add a feature but must be reviewed to be more user-friendly.
  • Visuals and audio must be added/reviewed.
  • A lot of balancing must be done.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

You can create a deck, start (and complete) games against friends or join the matchmaking to start a game against any other player in the queue. There are at least 60 cards that work correctly and are (more or less) balanced.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

No definitive decision has been made regarding the pricing of this game. However, it is expected that the price is increased with new content being released. Nonetheless, once the game is in your possession, you will get access to all upcoming features with no additional cost.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

A website is under construction to have a dedicated platform to exchange ideas.
Social networks will be used to facilitate the exchanges. You can already join the Discord server https://discord.gg/adeqbJ7rZ6 . It is expected that the player's opinons have a big impact on the evolution of the game.

In Lords of Cards, build a deck of 90 cards and defy your opponents in real-time.

SELECT AMONG MORE THAN 60 UNIQUE CARDS

Building your deck is probably the most important step. Think upfront to create the best combinaisons of cards. Choose your troops, your constructions and your spells, to get the upper hand over your opponent.

DEFEND YOUR FORTRESS

The goal is simple: the first player who brings the opponent's fortress to ground wins the game. Winning the battle usually means building the strongest economy, to recruit more troups that will harrass your opponent.

MANY STRATEGIES TO DEFEAT YOUR OPPONENT

Will you try and strike as soon as possible? Will you recruit a lot of weak units to swarm your opponent? Will you be patient, defensive and slowly build to send powerful units?Many combinaisons of cards are possible and let you play by your own strategy.

UNLOCK NEW CONTENT BY PLAYING - NO PAY-TO-WIN

With your victories and experience in the game, you will gain gems that let you unlock new cards. You can also unlock new skins or animations for your avatar. The game doesn't contain any payment feature, you will have to unlock the content by playing.
