Informazioni sul gioco

~ Within the bowels of Forgeus Nestum lies the derelict Deadzones. Sectors beyond Law's grip, where industry has retreated. But yet life exists. Settlers seeking a new home, outlaws escaping justice, and mutant monsters stalk the blackouts. ~

Gameplay

Deadzoned is a traditional turn-based Roguelike in a sci-fi setting. Venture ever-deeper into the lawless sectors in search of your bounty, battling through a wide assortment of critters and creatures, outlaws, cultists, psychics, and the ever-changing environment itself.


To survive you'll need shrewd wits to make best use of the variety of weapons and gear you stumble upon or craft, but you'll be helped along the way by discovering supply containers and the cut-off friendly (or unfriendly) settlers selling their services for a fistful of credits.

Features

  • Every playthrough a procedurally-generated nightmare: Each sector fight through a unique layout as you level-up differently with strange skills, find rusting weapons, gadgets and gear, and deal with a variety of room types and enemies and sporadic events that happen in and between the levels.
  • Multiple game modes: Fancy a quick 15 minute trip? Or maybe a more lengthy session? You choose how deep the bounty hunt goes with each game mode offering their own length, difficulties, and pools of gear, enemies, events, and end bosses.
  • Multiple character classes: From Bounty Hunters, Psychics, and Technomaniacs to the humble Deprived Wretch, each class plays and levels up differently.
  • Sector events: Every level has a random event changing how it plays. From walking through serene Park Zones or stinky Sewage Zones, to dealing with Cannibal Clans and Necromancer Cults, or the most dreaded zombie-infested Zones of the Dead.
  • Between Sector events: Even when heading between levels you'll be thrown into a random happening. From finding a friendly Homestead or Drink Den, to stumbling upon very strange individuals, fight pits, toll bridges, and occult encounters.
