「A great deal of the DoomBreaker' base foundation has already be set out and paved, however it isn't complete and still in the alpha development phase. Early access will help drive the title in the correct direction from the point it is at today. 「The folowing is planned...

  • Procedurally generated world.
  • Player progression system, with base attributes contributing to player overall ability in game world and customizable combat ability path.
  • Online Co-op

  • A variety of different combat abilities that can be aquired and swapped in/out for unique fight style.
  • Story that’s delivered through in game characters and narrator.
  • Random variety of enemy AI behaviour & ability within each encountered. Varies anywhere from their movement speed,to frequency and if they're offensive, defensive, combat movement initiated, whether or not they flee or fight and their individual appearance based on specific enemy type.
  • NPCS that can either be rescued,killed or fight along side you. Varies from human to animal.
  • Environmental obstacle mechanics, in the form of player crushing blocks, faulty bridges, levers & keys that prompt problem solving from player. Can be in either an already hostile situation or relaxed. Entirely dependant on the cards that are dealt, regarding the random nature of how environment is generated.
  • Shops & NPCs that provide player a way to purchase potentially higher grade equipment, such as various weapon & armor types, with their respective tiers.
  • Equipment grade tier system. Bronze, Iron, Steel, Ebony types on all equipment.
  • Enemies, items, equipment, obstacles, events ,challenges all randomly generated.
  • Variety of loot to gather & items to consume.

「The current Early Access version of DoomBreaker offers a captivating & challenging experience, encouraging players to explore and jump right into the action!

We only experience one biome in the game world as of right now. The Forest Area. This currently spans over 3 iterations that comprise of,
Forest Act 1,
Forest Campsite
Forest Act 2.
Each is a completely different experience with every play through.

The game’s combat abilities, progression system, and weapon options are still under development, with more additions planned. Currently, only Humans are playable, but additional races like Dwarves will be available later. The game only supports single-player for now, and the current enemies are just a small sample, with more to come, including expanded doom portal varieties.

The environments you explore are random in nature. As a result of this, we are looking for feedback on the experiences you encounter in regard to obstacles, combat,events and general flow experienced.

So was it engaging? Challenging? Balanced within overall difficulty? What didn’t you enjoy? Did you lose interest at some point and if so, when,where and why was that for you?

We encourage you to play through several times but of course first impressions are also super important!

We appreciate that 1 biome isn’t much to explore however,this feedback is important before pressing forward with expanding the game world. Due to the random nature of DoomBreaker' world, it's difficult to provide an exact amount of play time that's currently here. We can confidently say the current alpha build provides over an hour of gameplay time but you may get much longer out of it.」

Doombreaker is an action-packed, procedurally generated world where 1 to 4 heroes journey across dynamic landscapes, battling endless waves of demons, braving dangerous swamps, forests, mountians and other mysterious places throughout their quest. Every playthrough offers new and unique challenges in the fight to protect the realm from evil.

DYNAMIC WORLD EXPLORATION

You will encounter many evil creatures as you embark on your quest to destroy evil. Through rich forest littered with bandits, goblins, treants, treacherous pitfalls and bone crushing traps, all the way up to dangerous cliff tops, blocked pathways and rickety rope bridges. No two journeys will ever challenge you the same way as they did before.

PLAYER EQUIPMENT SYSTEM

Player equipment is comprised of various weapons, shields & armors. You'll find them in the world during your journey, or you can buy certain equipment from travelling merchants in the game world.

There are 4 tier groups for each and every weapon, shield and armor. These range from bronze, iron, steel and ebony. Your basic equipment set will comprise of Broadswords, Longswords, Morningstar Mace, Shields and Breastplates. What is available will further expand as your progress through your journey.

PLAYER PROGRESSION SYSEM

Your exerience, loot & equipment are all saved upon reaching checkpoints, however, upon death, heros will lose all their equipment, loot & kill counter score. Your current amount experience gained is diplayed upon reaching each checkpoint.

During the hero level up state, this exp is spent on raising base attributes of your choice. The kill counter score contributes to the additional phase of levelling up, where it is converted into points for unlocking, or swappping out combat techniques tied into your controls.
