About This Game

The Palace on the Hill is a story based, open-world, adventure game. The story is about a teenage boy, Vir, set in a hillside village in India. Vir is an aspiring artist and creates art by exploring the ruins of an ancient kingdom in his village.
In his explorations, he discovers various things and stories told by the villagers which become references for his artworks.
Vir's father, a farmer, is struggling with debt due to failed crops and loses the savings meant for his son's college.
During the course of his summer vacation, Vir gets an exciting opportunity to showcase his artworks in a gallery which will earn him a lot of money.
To fulfil this quest Vir has to create a series of paintings depicting the royal history of their village.
