“In 2020 we released RACING BROS on Playstation 4. This version had only local multiplayer (4-player splitscreen) and was ment to give you and your friends & family something fun to do while you shared the same couch at home.
One year later we've reached 2.8 million players and a lot of awesome fans have shared their hopes for this game. All of them want online multiplayer!

So here we are - trying to tackle our biggest challenge yet.
In order to deliver the best possible online experience on any platform we are putting the game (and the new online mode) on early access on Steam. It's more accessible to people on PC, it's easier to get feedback and it's easier to develop features this way. Hopefully this project will help us gain more knowledge and experience in order to deliver the best possible online services when we leave early access.”

“When we leave Early Access you will have a satisfactory online experience that delivers the same fun as the local multiplayer-part of the game. Our goal is to implement the most essential online stuff, implement synced physics and offer a lag-free experience.”

抢先体验版本的现状如何？

“The current version of the game includes all the features and content available on the console. This includes a fully working singleplayer, local splitscreen mode and remastered classic maps.
More than 6 different modes, and more than 15 different maps!
We've implemented online, but the experience is not optimized yet.

Right now: Testing ongoing - We are working on syncing physics, adding online basics, improving UI and adding a highly requested car selection function.”

“The price will remain the same after we leave Early Access.”

在开发过程中，你们是如何计划让玩家社区参与进来的？

“Until now - we've been communicating with our player base through Youtube, E-mail and Facebook.
We will be adding a discord channel for more direct communication.
Our player base is the reason this game still evolves and exists.

We want to keep the old and new player base involved all the time.
