Varför Early Access?

“I want to make Why It's Empty Here: The Game the best I can, since I am making this game alone. Even in beta, I know that working directly with the community is the best way. I have a lot to add, and Early Access is a way for me to constantly receive feedback from players.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“For at least a year and a half, since I am making Why It's Empty Here: The Game Alone, it may take longer.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“I plan to add more content such as map expansion, new creatures, new demons, and new materials to find. I also want to expand the crafting system with new crafting stations and of course more recipes. I also want to add other weapons and construction parts. Multiplayer will be completely rework and I want to add a dedicated server tool: If you want a server running 24/7.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Most of the basic intended features of the game have been implemented. The single player and multiplayer modes are fully functional. There are currently four different seasons. There are around 15 different types of creatures, including monsters, animals, and bosses.

In terms of features, the game is around 50% finished and in terms of content it is around 30% complete. So still plenty of things to do!”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“No definitive plan. But is likely that the price will increase or decrease during the early access period.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I use currently my Discord server as my primary ways to talk to my community. Players are welcome to suggest new features and modifications in the "ideas & suggestions" chat channel. A closed test-group of players will be have access to the latest builds of the game and work closely with the devloppement team. The test-group evaluates and tests new features and changes before they are released publicly. I will continue to develop this process based on the needs and feedback of the community. I invite all users of "Why It's Empty Here: The Game" to actively follow us on Official Discord as well as our website (under development) once finished posting on our discord as well as the Steam forums.”
