What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to make our game the best it can be, and we believe by building and involving a community during the development phase and thus acquiring crucial player feedback and suggestions, this can be achieved. Early access will serve as a way for interested players to play the game as it develops, and most importantly, give their feedback and suggestions and help us to create the best game for our players. I have helped to develop other games for other companies in the past, and as I am mainly developing Terafall alone (with some slight part-time assistance), as a lead single developer, I am very open to player feedback to help develop and shape the game and together I believe with time we can create a great sci-fi open world, sandbox survival game!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to have a full release available for the end of 2022, however this may take longer depending on any potential extra content we may decide to implement as a result of player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand on the already existing core elements by adding a wider variety of enemies to fight, resources to collect, equipment such as weaponry and armor, and other items. We also plan to improve the already existing core systems, such as crafting and cooking, by adding a larger range of cooking/crafting recipes. We also plan to add additional bosses, and add additional NPCs which will serve the basis of new optional questlines.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, all of the features listed on our store page as "Currently implemented" are already in the game. Most of the core game mechanics are already implemented, including a cooking system which allows players to mix multiple ingredients to create unique dishes which can bestow unique temporary buffs on the player, a crafting system which allows you to craft weapons, armor and items, a perk system which allows the player to unlock new abilities as they gain experience, a resource gathering system in which the player can mine ores, cut wood, collect plants etc, three bosses, procedurally created unqiue NPCs offering a wide variety of random interactions, and about 400 total items (including weapons, armor, and resources etc). As we are still actively developing the game and adding new features and entirely new systems, optimization will be carried out as new features are implemented. This means that you may experience some frame rate drops playing. For some of our players, there are some few second frame rate drops only when entering a new area.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase as major updates are released to reflect the new changes and additional content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Involving the community for feedback is the main reason why we are entering early access, so it is crucial that players send feedback and suggestions for new content they want to see, bug reports, and all other feedback to us. This can be done directly via the Steam discussions page by posting topics. We also plan to create a discord in the near future which will also serve as an additional means of feedback.”
