Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“Tape to Tape has actively engaged with the community since the earliest days of development. We strongly believe in the Early Access model and the benefits of continual design feedback from our community. We aim to keep communication open to continue improving the game as we move toward a full release.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access into late 2025 to gather as much feedback as possible and incorporate it into the game. The exact duration is not set in stone and will depend on how much we feel the need to adjust the gameplay or expand the game's scope before finalizing it.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“For the full version we are working toward a revamped Roguelite campaign, a draft mode, more teams, additional powerups and relics, fights, an overhauled UI, localization options, and a range of quality-of-life improvements. For more details, please follow our roadmap on Discord or here on Steam.”

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes all content and features listed on the store page, such as: a 3-act roguelite campaign, tournament mode, 'play now' options with dozens of teams, and create-a-player/team customization features.”

“There’s a possibility that the full version may be priced higher than the Early Access version, as the game will feature more content and expanded features upon full release.We believe Early Access offers players a chance to join the adventure early and help development at a lower price.”

“Player feedback is an integral part of our development process, and we greatly value every comment and suggestion we receive. Take charge of a ragtag group of hockey players in a roguelite journey across a mysterious land. As the newly appointed captain, every choice matters on your path to discover the secret of hockey's last bastion. Hire superstars, utilize the synergy found between players, and harness ruthless abilities, all in favor of crafting an unbeatable team.

LOSING IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

Easier said than done, as the ultimate dream team doesn’t appear out of thin air. Use losses as an opportunity to visit the mighty Blademaster in between runs and permanently upgrade your hero for the battles ahead. When the Center is still flubbing every single face-off, there’s no shame in lining the ref’s pockets with some sweet “maple syrup.”

DEEP AND REWARDING GAMEPLAY

Combining modern precision with fast-paced 90s-inspired action, Tape to Tape offers a unique experience in the form of a simcade hockey experience. Bone-crushing body checks and stellar saves will keep players shaking in their skates, but mastering the dynamic puck physics system will secure the victory. Players and goalies will react to the puck bouncing off sticks and ricocheting off faces creating organic and emergent battles on the ice. Thankfully, there is no penalty when a tooth is lost.

MULTIPLAYER

Experience the Roguelite Campaign at its best — in co-op. Team up with friends to conquer the campaign, debate every power-up choice, and embrace the glorious chaos that makes each run unforgettable.

You can also jump into Play Now mode, where up to 10 players can face off locally. With a wide variety of teams, deep gameplay, and countless power-ups, every match feels chaotic, competitive, and endlessly replayable.

Tape to Tape does not feature native online multiplayer. However, you can still play with friends remotely using Steam Remote Play Together or third-party services such as Parsec.
