Why Early Access?

“Gooper is a 2D puzzle game launching in Early Access with 200 levels. Updates will introduce new levels and mechanics as well as a level creator, allowing players to create and play community levels. Launching in Early Access will allow us to involve the community with the development of the game, including tweaking the difficulty curve of the levels as well as testing of new features introduced such as the level creator.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Gooper will be in Early Access for roughly 6 months, with v1.0 expected to launch in Q1 2022”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Below is the current content schedule for future updates of Gooper

v0.1 - Initial release

The initial version of the game releases with 8 level packs of 25 levels, with escalating mechanics and difficulty.

v0.2 - Content packs

New content will be released with new mechanics and sets of levels to go with them.

v0.3 - Level editor and community levels

A level editor will be added, allowing players to create and play community levels.

v1.0 - Full release

The game will leave Early Access when all content and mechanics have been implemented, and reported bugs have been fixed.”
