為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「We want TimeQuake to be an ever expanding universe of time-bending mechanics, missions and modes.

The scope and potential of the game, which can be set anywhere in space and time, is too vast for us to deliver in one go, even if we wanted.

Early Access provides a means of focusing the team on what players find the most engaging. Helping channel the team towards features and content they want, rather than what we think they want.」

「We plan to be in early access for 6 -12 months, but we can not guarantee how long it will take, as a lot will depend on the reaction from the community.」

「In addition to balancing patches and hotfixes, we plan to release new missions, modes, weapons and customisation during early access.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「We currently have four playable missions, which demonstrate the core time and combat mechanics, of which at least two will be released at Early Access.

There are two playable factions; each faction has five armor variants, five weapon types, plus skins.」

「The price of the game will increase after Early Access.」

「Community feedback should be at the heart of game development. Being able to involve players in TimeQuake’s evolution will enable us to make the best game possible for our audience.

WAR IN THE FOURTH DIMENSION


Join in an epic conflict that will determine the future of the universe.

On a remote island, ‘The Infinity Corporation’ has been secretly developing a gigantic time machine, called the ChronoSphere. Their goal? To alter the course of human history and make themselves the de facto rulers of the world.



To stop ‘The Infinity Corporation’, coalition forces launched a military assault. During the attack, the ChronoSphere was damaged causing it to malfunction. This malfunction created a time bubble around the island which resets itself every 15 minutes. With each reset, the bubble grows. If unconstrained, it will engulf the whole planet. Eventually, the entire universe will be trapped in a time loop.

This island is now the battleground for control of time itself.
