What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We've been releasing weekly updated builds to our small community of playtesters for 7 months before Early Access release. Their feedback has been vital in shaping the game's design and now that the game has grown so much, we want to continue this feedback-driven development with a larger audience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access until it's done. This is expected to take at least 6 months, but is open end depending on community interest.

We already brought our first game through Early Access successfully and we intend to do the same with InfraSpace, our second game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We have implemented an interactive roadmap in-game where the community can vote for more features. These include things like:
- Traffic signs and traffic lights
- Trains
- A large endgame project
- Pipes for fluid transport
- Cargo gondolas for mountainous terrain
- Day-Night-Cycle
- Mod support”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the time of writing, the InfraSpace features a tech tree with 34 technologies, 4 road types with 6 variations, 61 buildings, traffic tools, visualizations, statistics, city districts, a traffic simulation system with multiple lanes, and more. Our playtesters play saves for multiple days before they reach the end-game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't expect to raise the price for the full release. Only if the community is loving the game and we end up spending a large amount of time expanding its content will we consider a small price hike.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an interactive roadmap in-game where the community can vote for more features. We will use the votes on this roadmap to inform our decision about which features to focus on.

Besides that, we'll be active on the forums and on our Discord server to see what the most important issues and requests are.”

About This Game

Produce Everything you Consume

Out on the edges of human space, you can't build a city by spending credits. Instead, you'll have to put your first astronauts to mining work and get some raw materials. Once you have some iron, carbon, sand, and sulfur, it's time to set up your first steel mill and concrete factory to start laying down some infrastructure. Even necessities like food and oxygen require a steady production chain that must not be broken!

Transport Infrastructure

InfraSpace simulates every. single. car. Each resource you ever produce needs to be transported to a factory for processing and each product needs to go to a habitat for consumption. Your road network can handle a lot, but without your oversight it will grind to a halt and drown in traffic eventually. Build highways, roundabouts, and multi lane roads to ensure the production heart of the city keeps beating.

Population Growth

Your first colonists will be astronauts, the best and the bravest humanity has to offer. Give them food and shelter and they'll keep your outpost running no matter what. As your settlement grows, you need to cover the increasing workload by employing scientists and engineers, which require a few more creature comforts. Any city of sufficient size will sooner or later be home to more and more families as well, so make sure your schools can handle it and you are able to deliver the latest VR-edutainment products as well.

You don't have to play hard

Traffic management can be fickle and survival can be tough. You can adjust the difficulties of both to make your city management experience as easy - or as hard - as you want it to be.
