Miksi Early Access?

I want to work on this game until I am content with the amount of content and play time one can get out of it before officially releasing it as a finished product.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

This game will be in Early Access until it is re-worked completely and fully from the ground up and finished. Nuumonsters is the first game I have ever made, which I made completely and entirely by myself in a 1 year, and with about 1 year of updates on Steam.

Unfortunately, due to my inexperience (as comes natural with your first game) the source code got out of hand due to a poor foundation, a rapidly changing coding style, and re-making certain systems again from scratch (sometimes multiple times).

The game will be released to full access when it is recreated from scratched, play tested, and polished. Under the good it will be a completely different game, though visually it will look more or less the same.

Although it is true that Nuumonsters IS a game, and doesn't have any major issues or crashes, it is also true that at the time of developing it, I was completely alone and building my first game ever.

Nearly all the funds were put back into the game (Art, Sounds, BGM) and myself (Udemy, Code reviews, schooling). Years later, I have a team and the skills to make a game of what caliber Nuumonsters should be.

I love Nuumonsters and the community that enjoyed it and found me in our discord channel, and have full intention to revive the series as soon as my team and I are ready to do so.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The released version will look and feel like Nuumonsters, but it will be a completely new, re-imagined game, built on a new engine, polished, and everything an RPG game should be in it's finished state.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current game includes your standard RPG elements, 60+ Nuumonsters, Elite battlers, fishing, boating, hidden bases to find and decorate with furniture and other goodies, as well as a multi-biome overworld. You can battle, capture, and collect monsters, talk with the NPC's in the world, and explore the towns and areas as you unlock them.
