為何採用搶先體驗模式?

「I'd like help from the community in making this game, and early access seems like a great way to do it. The game is technically a complete game at this point. But I think I'm on to something bigger. I want to build and expand on it. Help me with ideas, suggestions, criticism, whatever you want. As long as it's to make the game better!」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久?

「Development is a notoriously difficult thing to estimate. However, I'll guess about 4-8 months of early access. Also depends on how many great ideas y'all come up with.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同?

「More backgrounds, enemies, bosses, power-ups, sounds, music, and upgraded graphics. Achievements. I have ideas about extra endings as well as other end-game content like challenges. I'm learning here, to be honest, and we can be in this together. My goal is to make something great, and use this experience to build even greater things.

First purchasers should absolutely be aware this is an Early Access (unfinished) release. Certain features, like achievements, steam saves, and trading cards, are NOT implemented yet.」

「You might consider it early alpha. The base game is complete, which is a brutal gauntlet/arena mode where the player takes on waves of increasingly powerful and amounts of enemies with a few bosses, and over 80 upgrades. The gameplay and controls are where I want them to be, but art and sound are still changing. Sound especially. At the moment art, music, and sfx are extremely limited and avant-garde and may very well change. Do not become attached... In addition, upgrades are easy to come by. In the future, they may be erased from save files to "properly" earn them.」

Dualism is a wave-based shoot 'em up with tons of upgrades that make every playthrough unique. There's a white/black mechanic where opposites damage and similar colors heal. Boss fights are intense and require you to git gud.
